Certificate Track - Hybrid 49

This certificate track is for those instructors who are teaching, or who are interested in teaching in the Hybrid 49 format._ Discuss hybrid pedagogy and the tools available to design quality hybrid courses.

1. Flipped Classroom (Click To Expand)

A flipped classroom inverts traditional teaching methods, moving lecture and instruction online outside of the classroom and transitioning problem solving and collaboration into the classroom. This workshop will feature how to help students learn better by using different technologies and pedagogical techniques.

2. Quality Matters (Click to Expand)

Quality Matters (QM) rubrics is one of the well-known quality assurance system for online courses. This session will introduce the QM rubrics and how the QM peer review works at Marist College. 

The Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) workshop is QM's flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and the process of using the QM Rubric to review online courses. It is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the QM Rubric and process of course review. The APPQMR is the prerequisite for the Peer Reviewer Course, which is the required course to become a QM Peer Reviewer.
