Student Life
Housing and Residential Life
Marist-Italy facilitates housing for interested Marist students. The housing used by Marist-Italy has been selected based on distance from school facilities, the safety of the neighborhood, and the reputation of the landlord.
The First-Year Florence Experience (FFE)
All first-year students are required to reside in Marist Italy housing. The students will be assigned a Resident Assistant and a Residence Life Coordinator – both of which live in the building. The RA and RLC will host programming to facilitate community and support student needs. First-year housing offers the student the opportunity to live together and form a community.
Undergraduate, Graduate, and Study Abroad Students (Marist International Programs & Marist LdM Experience)
Students enrolled in the Bachelor Degree programs are required to live in Marist Italy housing in their first year. Marist Italy housing is not guaranteed for incoming transfer students or returning upperclassmen, but might be possible on a space-available basis. Housing is apartment style. These apartments are usually suitable for a minimum of two to a maximum of six persons. Students typically live in double rooms, with one roommate. Costs for housing are outlined in the cost section of the website. Please note that all apartments are NON-SMOKING.
