What is Panopto? Panopto is an external tool that allows educators to record classes using multiple cameras, presentations, and screens. Content can be securely and easily shared between students and professors. Panopto also supports live broadcasting and enables the measurement of viewer behavior on videos to ensure engagement. Additionally, it offers a secure video library that educators can access and search through. Panopto can even be paired with Zoom for recording and video-saving purposes.

As a video content managing platform Panopto can be used:

  • To allow students to record and submit presentations to professors.

  • As a storage space for class videos, presentations, or lectures.

  • To track engagement among students on specific assignments.
