Brightspace is Marist's learning management system, designed to support faculty in creating and managing digital learning environments. Whether you are teaching in-person, online, or in a hybrid format, our Digital Education team is here to assist you with everything from navigating Brightspace tools to course design. Brightspace Workshops for Faculty: In-Person and Online
Digital Education offers valuable walk-in support for faculty members seeking assistance with Brightspace every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Library 305. These in-person sessions provide hands-on help with navigating and using Brightspace tools effectively. Additionally, faculty can attend online sessions every Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for further support, offering flexibility to engage in professional development regardless of location. Both options are designed to ensure faculty are equipped with the necessary resources to maximize their use of Brightspace.

- Brightspace Basics Certificate site to learn more about the Brightspace tools and how to use them in your course. This site is designed to introduce new faculty to the Brightspace learning environment or to review basic functions for the experienced instructor. This training is appropriate for faculty of all teaching modalities: Brightspace Basics Certificate

Students can stay informed and up to date about course-related updates, manage their time, and stay on top of their coursework. Boost engagement, reduce anxiety and build students’ confidence with the Brightspace Pulse App.
Students are advised not to reply to any Brightspace Announcement notifications sent through email:
Replying to announcements won’t send the message to the instructor, as they are sent from "noreply@brightspace.marist.edu," which is a system-generated email. Please reach out to your instructor directly via Outlook instead.
