Accessibility in Brightspace: 4-Part Workshop Series
Accessibility in Brightspace: Alt Text in Images
Wednesday, February 19 1:00pm - 2:00pm, Library 305
In collaboration with the Office of Accommodations and Accessibility (OAA), this session will guide faculty on using Alt Text to ensure images are accessible in their Brightspace course sites. This hands-on session will provide direct support from DE and OAA staff as you update your course materials.

- Faculty Brightspace Assistance site to access Brightspace Resources: Brightspace Faculty Assistance
- Brightspace Basics Certificate site to learn more about the Brightspace tools and how to use them in your course. This site is designed to introduce new faculty to the Brightspace learning environment or to review basic functions for the experienced instructor. This training is appropriate for faculty of all teaching modalities: Brightspace Basics Certificate

Showcase SOTL
SoTL is an inquiry into student learning that is shared publicly. It involves educators investigating their teaching methods and how these impact student learning. This research-based approach allows educators to refine their teaching strategies, align them with learning objectives, and disseminate findings to the broader academic community.
